It's interesting how they calculate the amount based on page views. About 5 years ago our company had the domain www.cmi-jobs.com and the CEO wanted www.cmi.com. The company who owned the domain cmi.com was an automotive wheel company that went out of business. They wanted $10K for the domain and I believe we finally settled somewhere around $7K. Given the math these guys use, we got ripped off... For us having the domain we wanted it was money well spent!
