I want to buy my buddy a GPS unit for his birthday.

What is the best unit for FISHING under 500 bucks?

Is there anything worth buying?

Maybe on the fishing sites they know all about the Fish finder GPS's, On this Performance Boat site we know about the one that remembers your top speed and how to get your drunken buddy back to the same boat ramp/dock where his car is........J/K...... Just Kidding, The Garmin website is a great start and they should have all the up to date maps......
