I thought in those the second guy was waving to signal upcoming turns so the driver can concentrate. Maybe I'm wrong.

Actually they use their hand to "point" the next turn. They hold out their hand, thumb on top, and point their hand left, right or straight.
Kind of like a hand puppet! lol

When it's coming down the back straight you can hear it even pick up a bit more, like a little shot of nitrous. :biggrinjester: The local machine shop where I dyno stuff, builds engines for some of these nuts. 1000+hp in a 15' boat always equals fun!

He navigates through hand signals to the driver.....check out an onboard from one of the boats and you can see how it's done!!!! Pretty cool but think the TP supply is very extensive at times to clean out your drawers!!!!!
