Cam recommendations

So it looks like we're going to go with mechanical injection on my race 28 (free, indefinate loan of a complete Crower set up). I need recommendation regarding the cam though.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions (either of a specific cam or of "the guy" to talk to regarding mechanically injected marine motors)?

Basic facts...

Motor is 572 cid, (4.25 stroke x 4.625 bore) 9:1 compression. Has Dart 360 heads (ported, don't recall final valve size though). Boat is approximately 6000#. Running an Imco SC drive. I'd like to keep RPM range in the 4500 - 5700 range. Solid lifter is fine.

Those heads are better suited to a drag race engine that revs to 8000 rpm. If I were caming it, I would use a modern solid roller and spin it over 6000.

Yah, that's what I've heard, but that's what I got... Trying to do this one with alligator arms... :sifone:
