42 GTX just repo'd yesterday in Miami

Sad situation, times are bad now. I think I would consider it the bottom if I ever lost my boat even though thats nothing compared to some others situations. I just love boats too much.

I believe "Vegas" is under contract. But I've been wrong before.....long ago.... about something else...

You were probably just confused long ago, not wrong though!!!!! LOL I actually saw this boat listed as a repo still for sale as of yesterday on traderonline.com so the original info is correct so far. That was an awesome boat, can't believe a dealer demo would go up to over 30 hours on 850's though because that is half their life before the first tear down. Makes for an expensive first 5 or so boat trips that end up being a $50k rebuild. Love the detail on the boat, hope someone gets it reasonable.

Rebuilds on the 850's can stretch up to the 150+/- hour mark. At 30 you would want to have a through check up just because it is 3 years old (think of it as 10 hours a year of use). It was owned by Hideaway so if they launched it at their marina there is a lot of "no wake" time before they could get to an inlet so don't be surprised if there is a lot of idle hours on those motors.
