It's so typical of these types of situations, it's seen over and over. They said 50 plus boats were "registered", but there were 45 boats at the event that ran. Some of the "registered" boats were in shops being built or rebuilt, and one of the "registered" boats was there without an engine in it.

I used to estimate the time, then double it. Found out that wasn't nearly enough extra time for most jobs.....

15 classes eligible, only 4 current classes have records. I hope at one boat comes to run in every class, hopefully more to see some back and forth. That would be so sweet!

It will be interesting to see how they do. $425,000 still seems pretty dang expensive. I wonder if that includes a trailer.......
