The engine bay ready for the motor. This is the result of about 100 hrs of work. Along the way I learned that aluminum comes in straight and square pieces, boats not so much. :)
Candy purple with metal flake over a silver base for the floors. Snow white powder coat on pretty much everything else.

The perfect home for the green Monster

Matching flake in the floor and the engine. Sometimes you can see it, sometimes you can't.

And just for Tyler, yes thats a painted oil filter :)

A couple of details.

Get real performance drive resevoirs modified. One with the factory low level sensor and one is now the power steering resevoir.

Modified original belt tensioner bracket and pulley and new idler pulley to take the place of the recirc pump pulley. Oddly enough, theres a timing cover stud from a 3.8l v6 Ford in there now.

SX fuel pump and custom fuel cooler mounted under the engine where the original cool fuel system was.

"We're gonna need a bigger boat."

Holy crap, that engine is huge. Keep under light speed, Jedi

LOL, I believe "Ludicrous speed" is the new setting on the throttle lever :)
It used to just have two positions, "Dock" and "Drive". Now it has three:biggrinjester:
