I wonder if I can get some help.

Im looking at a 29 fountain with twin 502s.

It seems to be in fairly good condition, I just dont know much about the boat or how it rides or performs.

I will do all lake boating and small excursions.

    Thoughts?

Hey Bunny, might be a little butt heavy with BBC's back there. Pull my trigger here on the board has a 29 with twin SBC's. Maybe PM Doug and ask him for more info. He's in the Shwa.

    Here's a link to Doug.

PS, welcome to Serious. Some really good reading around here.

I knew you would be around here. :moon:

Ya figured that it would ride pretty low in the back end. I just want something towable but big enough that it meets all the needs that I want it for. Which is mainly speed and sound!

Not buying for another year but I like to be informed.

I did check out a 29 outlaw and was not impressed. Did not seem as well made as the Fountain

    BTW- over 110 yet?

I have the same boat as pullmytrigger but with bbc's. Its not the fastest, maybe 68 with 454/330's but seems to enjoy the rough stuff. It actually sits a lot higher then the 32's with that same package.

    I think pullmytrigger has hull #2, I have #3

Well the one I am looking at has 502's.

I was actually looking at a single screw boat but the price and condish seem to be good on this one. I just worry about all that weight!
