I Want A Project Boat, I Want To Take The Winter To Do It From Top To Bottom All New So I Know What I Have, Would Really Prefer To Find A 28, (live At The Jersey Shore Big Water) But They Seem Hard To Find. Good luck in your search Tom.
    Excellent choice in a boat.
I'm sure Jo or Pepe will chime in soon.
If not, Dude!Sweet! usually has a pretty good pulse on which boats are currently on the market.
I'm sure he'll chime in on what he knows available.

    And Stormrider Rob as well!

I'm on my Black Berry right now. I'll shoot some stuff on tomorrow, but your best bet in most cases is to call the factory. There the real deal and always happy to talk to future members of the Family!

I really liked the yellow one in MD with the #3 drives. Never seen it in person, but a very cool looking boat ripe for an upgrade.

b stubbs boat is definately very unique and fast as hell. Not a project.

the 24 with the 496 HO for sale is a peach as well, but not a project.

There was the one that was owned by the airplane mechanic that was up on eBay... Texas maybe? It was a 28, it was cheap and it was in a million peices.

what about the 24 3 man?

did that one get snapped up? That was a cool boat and could have benefiited from someone willing to do a restoration.

Just saw this one. Pretty ambigious description, but maybe worth a call or email. Probably a bassboat though...

That 3-man would be a great choice if it's still out there.
Got some age, but that wouldn't scare me in a Pantera.
The race hatches on that were pretty f-cool.
The famalia here (as Sean (Dude!) calls it), we'll help you find your boat.
But, I will warn you. If you are meant to be a Pantera owner, more than likely, the boat will find you. They have a way of finding the proper owner.
Good luck, I hope your boat finds you soon.

Correction on my previous statement about the 24 3-man.
I was thinking of the race hatches on the old ('79 ish?) 28 that recently surfaced again.
Dyonisus (sp?) or something like that.

I was...up until July. I saw a best of 72.6mph on gps with 2 people and 1/3 fuel. However, I was getting some water in the outdrive and finally found out where. Two small holes in the bellows. When I pulled the drive I also noticed that the lower swivel bearing had some play. I was in the process of removing the gimbal ring when I put my back out for 2 weeks. That and a combo of bad weather have kept me from finishing the work.
The boat is going into the shop to finish the job and hope to be back out for the long weekend (I can't wait).
I love the boat but would like to get something bigger.
    Thanks
