In Texas we are always ready. Went out on New Years last year. Problem is after hurrican Ike, there is not much left to go to. Looking forward to all of our favorite spots being rebuilt, hopefully by spring.

Mine is in my heated garage and always ready, but we don't have enough water in our river to use any of the ramps. I could put it in a local lake, but I can go around the entire lake in 10 mins.

Nope - I just call the season over. Once I pickle with Antifreeze I am done. I don't like to be bundled up, etc..... when I am boating so I just pack it in. Plus around here there is LITTLE activity after Labor Day.......

I winterized last year, but this year I'm planning not to.
Not too many freezing nights, and the lake never freezes.
Will probably break my mini ceramic heater for the engine compartment if we get a bad cold snap.
