Now that I got your attention.
I got pretty deep into the motor's throat and guts.
Thanks for all the help and input guys.
Next, putting the new motor in.
I have a bunch of good internal parts if anyone needs something from a 350 Mag. Less 1 cylinders and one head. All the rest of the guts are good. Block is history.

It's amazing how cross-firing between cylinders eats away at the block.

07-21-2009 11:40 AMWell, cool I think.
Are they a known rebuilder? It's tough putting it in and out, and I've seen errors before, more than once. I'd pull the pan and plastguage at least one main and a couple rods.
Did they spec the valve types?
Rebuilt Marine Engine for the tolerance increases etc. and a marine cam overlap?
Just be cautious, it's easy to check stuff now.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!
