    Painting a windscreen

    Been running my Apache 21 with no windscreen and thinking about putting the original on from 1987. I'm not sure what matierial its made of ,(Lexan,Acrylic etc) ,but its black and I want to paint it white.
    Any suggestions?

    you should be able to just sand it down and shoot it although i would try and determine exactly what material it is made out of to help select a sealer, use a good single stage like PPG's Concept. any pics?

    Well Fu#k, I broke the dam thing wet sanding it. Pics soon. I'm going to try and epoxy it back together and see what it does.

    Post pics and thicknesses etc. We made a replacement for the Marlin out of a flexible plastic when the acrylic one broke..
    Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!
