This is from two summers ago. A sailbote sunk near my house and had been there for a few weeks. The DNR finally came and put a green can near it.

After looking at it for a while, Spicy and I decided that we should put something else on it...

... A CBPBA (Chesapeake Bay PowerBoat Association) Flag.

After the flag was cut down...we got thinking again. We decided to have a raft-up at the sunkin sailbote!!

I'm sure that Ted has the pictures, but not only was another CBPBA flag strung up....there were 30 or so beer cans that somehow ended hanging from the mast as well.

You need to recruit some young, athletic guy to shinny up and put it at the top. Those blowboaters lack that sort of motivation to retrieve it from there.

No, maybe 10 feet. It was in a cove straight across from my neighborhood on the anchor (That's what those cheap-azz snailboters do for fun) and sank. I'm going to look for round two pictures. We did 'em up right!!

There was on sitting on bottom at the head of the Severn years ago. DNR said as long as it had a current reg. sticker on it the owner can moor it where ever he likes.

If that were a power boat DNR would be screaming environmental damages and more. It must have batteries in it. He should get ticketed for not dislaying a mooring light if nothing else.

    Damn Rag haulers

Point of order: there is no such thing as a "Sunkin sailboat."

Sunken is as close as you will get.
