I noticed I no longer can edit threads that I made the previous day. Could it be posible to please change that back?

06-25-2009 07:51 PMI believe that was done for a reason, maybe an incentive to think before posting and /or think when reading replies. if there is a specific problem you need to talk to a mod as they can edit with proper justification.

We were somewhat concerned when one member came in and deleted a bunch of posts. This is our rationale- when you start it, it's your thread. Once a number of members have contributed to the thread, it becomes the community's thread, since most of the content is now being provided by someone other than the thread starter. That's not to say edits and deletes can't happen, but imagine for a moment if someone were to delete something like the "Raise Your Post Count" thread with 100,000 replies. We'd have to close the board
