Paint gone wrong

The ones that I've always found to be the ugliest are those that try to include every type of graphic style on one boat.

Flames....check
Tribal Designs....check
Lightning Bolts.....check
Airbrushed Images.....check
Ghosted Images.....check


Add all that crap to the same paint job and it looks like, well, crap.

Don't forget checkered flags...gotta have checkered flags...

Saw this thread, and had to look and see if my boat was here

Purple wasnt supposed to be quite this Pastel, but I was tired of waiting to use the boat, and it was already loaded in the gun when I realized how bad it was

I thought that was supposed to be “friendly Ft. Lauderdale fuchsia”…? Actually I didn’t think it look bad in person.

It scores at the very top of the "Poorly Executed" category, with Special Honors for that home-made look.

yep, also pretty much what happens when you have someone that primarily does bikes or cars do your boat.

using any product from this company will undoubtably yield a unique yet questionable paint that is sure to make your resin bucket stand apart from the crowd, one way or another...

This was a result of that.... lots of detail but a tad much....at least they could have done 4" exhaust...

You are right though, it doesnt photograph well, and does look better in person, besides, I cant see it from inside the boat. BUT when I redo the transom this winter, I am thinking of repainting the entire boat.

And make sure after you do the all out kustom paint, that you reinstall the Winnebago roof vent deck hatches...

I personally think this thread is tasteless. Im a believer of the old saying "If you cant say something nice, dont say anything at all"

Im all for posting pics and complimenting boats that we like, but i dont see any reason in publicly putting negative attention on anyone.

I know that at least a couple boats in this thread are owned by members here and are nice guys, that love their boats and the paint jobs are personally custom to them and what they like.

Just my opinion, for whatever its worth.
