    U.S. powerboat racing fans, anxiously awaiting TV coverage of the 2009 European Powerboat P1 season, can catch the action and excitement of the world’s premier offshore racing circuit on American Powerboat Television’s on-demand video programming. The Endavo Media-powered, advanced video streaming provides top-quality programming at www.americanpowerboat.tv.

    Within two weeks of each race, viewers can select the “Powerboat P1 Channel” from the right side of the screen (currently showing the 2008 season races) and watch P1 race highlights in a magazine news coverage format. The production is a joint effort between Greenlight TV who provides the Powerboat P1 World Championship coverage for EuroSports and the other international channels that carry the one-hour, post-race show. “While we look for the right opportunity to showcase Powerboat P1 race coverage on US cable networks, we are pleased that American Powerboat TV offers us the chance to showcase the excellent racing action of the P1 World Championship,” said Robert Wicks, Commercial Director of Powerboat P1.

    Powerboat P1’s U.K.-based website, www.powerboatp1.com will also feature an affiliate high-quality video player offering direct access to all its 2009 APBTV racing programs. The site will link back to www.americanpowerboat.tv providing an opportunity for the P1 worldwide audience and offshore enthusiasts to experience a wide range of performance boat programming on the sport of offshore racing , speed runs and selected poker run events, covered by American Powerboat TV in the U.S. Producer John Potts creates the American Powerboat TV show, broadcast on Fox Sports Network and Comcast Sports Network that begins in the fourth quarter.     The site will also soon offer one-hour DVD’s of the 2008 Powerboat Season Review. These DVD’s were previously sold only in European PAL format, but they have been converted to NTSC format and will be available on the www.americanpowerboat.tv site shortly.
