I jumped off my trailer a couple of years ago at the ramp and took out my ankle... this isn't the best picture, but I'll find that one later... Here's right after. I like the "mystery lump" ahead of my actual ankle... balled up tendon or balled up ligament, you tell me, I'm no orthopedic surgeon!

    Of course!

Pain is temporary... glory, eternal (I think Evil Kinevel said that!)

I was at the Palmwood last Saturday night, I managed to fall between a speaker and the stage somehow. Needless to say I messed up my ankle and my knee pretty bad! Still managed to go to the hot tub with some ladies though!

OK, so the majority of the photos I took with the real camera suck... Great pics of my feet and stuff on the floor but the actual thing I was taking pics of was totally blurry...

Anyhow, here's a few more good ones...

Little tiny piston... can you see the pockmarks in the bottom from the metal debris?

Cam with a chunk out of one of the lobes, that's not even the one under the exploded lifter!

Nice shot of some ugly bearings too...

I honestly thought about doing a "cover girl" on it and removing the V-berth... which is why I decided to sell it before I ruined a really nice boat!
So now mine is old and heavy

How much does Adam's and Mike's weigh? Has anyone of you weighed them yourself?

I weighed mine a while ago, complete with everything (no lead plates, new interior, that heavy cushion in the "cabin", blower motor, big cooler, drive cool system etc), with no fuel and completely clean from gear etc. Weighed 4980lbs...

Tomas, I thought Pepe said yours was the lightest one they'd ever build, followed by the Mig as #2 or #3 in lightness?

Tomas 28' is the lightest 28' we have ever built.I think it originally weighed right around 4300 pounds complete with a Mercruiser 500 HP and a 5 man bolster.

    Hey Jo,

Yeah I know that, I believe you told me 4000lbs and 4400lbs weighed in for racing in F1.

I guess only my blower motor would weigh at least 100-150lbs more than a HP500. The interior including everything is probably an extra 300lbs.

I have never weighed mine. Not sure how much it weighs but I think Jeff told me 4700lbs dry when I bought it from him.

if you are going to desert your country head North. Your apparent love of beer and April Wine will make you fit right in.

Not sure how well you can blend in down in Mexico even if you dyed your hair grease black, got a gold tooth and began to go by the name "el pantera"......
