    39 showed up, several others were pre-registered but had issues and what not and could not make it. There are several that were just not done yet for the season. There is a nice break now so they should have the time to get buttoned up. And Augie was chomping at the bit, but he is waiting for the Doc to give him the A-OK.

    I was sitting between the start/finish and turn 1 pretty straight uphill run.... saw some good air. hell of a battle between bountyhunter and simmons, that old boat can fly!!! a lot of attrition the first race, the 2nd race was delayed a bit as most of the med boats were towing boats in. I was on a 39 venture CC with 3 big verados on the back.. went for a nice ride after the race.

    Nice to see pix from an ocean race. I realize it wasn't that rough, but I would still rather see boats flying off small ocean waves, than doing 200mph on a dead flat lake. Bounty Hunter still looks awesome. What were the speeds for all classes?

    I hate to see anyone with a broken boat, but I will say it makes me much happier to help a racer with a broken boat, than a boat with a broken racer.....
