I figured I would start a thread on my new to me 10 meter. I am lucky and she is almost perfect. It won't take long to get her there.

I got her home and cleaned up. Art also worked my up with extra's. New red dash, nice used quadrants. A couple pair of gil manifolds and a transom assembly.

1985. Purchased with 370 TRS, Latham steering and MYCO. In '01 she got painted and motor upgrade. She has spent a lot of time sitting in a warehouse. Of course it needs a few things, but everything works and runs great.

No, but I spent all day with her. I found a bad bellows, pulled drive and bellhousing. Replaced u joint assembly and tail shaft bearing then took it for a ride. It is in great condition. I will have her totally perfect by next spring. For now soap, gas and water is all it needs.

So go figure. I drive for 5 hours and stop to get some sleep. Get up and drive 18 miles and loose a tire. Changed 4 get rolling 30 more miles loose another tire. Changed 2 and proceeded another 1000 miles to get home with no more problems.

Best part was when I pulled off the interstate the girl at the count says there is a shop with Tires painted on the building just up the hill.

Only lost two. But all were going away at the same time. The looked fine. It only took one heat cycle and the tread was coming off. In the grand scheme 6 15 inch tires doesn't really matter. I got lucky and got them changed quick and easy. The only reason I stopped twice was the first place didn't have 6 that matched. I now have all new skins...

Hey Congrats I have seen that boat before and it is very nice. I heard you and Art were out playing around. Glad you made it home and good luck with her. Are you going to do the Bimini Run with her?
