    Jim,
If there's any remotely serviceable steering items that you'd be willing to part with cheap let me know by PM, thanks

Until I get my stuff back I can make no promises. At present my top plates are in great shape, all bolt kits are in good shape and complete. The rod end rotating balls for my tie bar are cracked and need replacement. I have one old style rear plate but, have no match. I can buy a pair of new style rear plates and get the clevis joints and new bar I desire or more simply replace my existing rod ends and save some money.. I have not yet come to a conclusion.

    I will keep you posted.

No progress on boat. Been busy with her home. Brought the service in under ground and 200 amp panel installed. Next on the list is installing lights, switches and outlets. Working on finishing the table side. In the process of framing in a storage/ utility closet and half bath, drywall, and peg board walls, need ready for counters and cabinets.

Also numerous projects outside. Mostly landscaping including enlarging the pond.

My busy season is approaching fast.

My son of 25 is a young lad. I am getting old fast. Just had a stress test last week. Need to exercise. Just read my Yahoo horoscope for today:

    Capricorn
    12/22-1/19

You can't seem to get focused on any one person or project -- so don't bother forcing it! Your energy is best spread around, so make sure that everything that catches your eye gets some love.

Seems like the story of my life.

Heads are out getting work. New springs, exhaust valves and what ever else needed. Steering due back soon. Hope to start glass work soon.

    No picture necessary.

A long time has passed. Engines are together, have been run and are bagged and waiting. Steering was returned from Latham long ago. Cylinders reconditioned, new hoses and fittings, new rear plates and bolt kits. All still boxed. Picked up a a pair of drives and another pair of props. The set now includes a pair of 23,24, and 25 Mirages along with the 26 Hydromotives that came with her. Transom is filled, stringers repaired and getting final touches to prepare engine box for paint and outside transom paint scheduled in the coming weeks. Trannies crated and on their way for rebuilds. The end is almost in sight.
