Why does it take so much power to get a 41 over 100mph? Is it the design of the boat or the weight?

A lot to do with the weight. My boat is about 11,000lbs with 3 people about 100 gallons of gas. And the boat needs to be set up rite.

I will call you soon give you a good starting point. The #5 drives are good start. Need the drives high and ext boxes. 1.5 gear will work. Need to dyno your motors have to know how much power they make. I would turn the props in. Rake of the props 15 degree.Prop shafts above the bottom.

Had a legacy to 105 this weekend with lots more to go and I gotta say I needed more seat time to feel comfortable in it, they ride flat as a pancake! The boat has seen 127 with the 1075s in it, ride nothing like apaches that's for sure....!
