But that'd be alot of $ to shell out for the best stripper ever!
You're better off leaving the Arnesons off....just my opinion!!!

I have the answer!!!! took a minute to think of it. the answer lies in where the motors are...there is only so much room in the back of the boat. If we set up 6 1500 sterlings, we could get moving.. Just mount them like this..

I was just on the phone with Bobby talking about life in South Florida and during that conversation asked him the speeds of the ones that he raced over the years.....

Warpath on it's best day with him and Benny ran 93!!!
Meanstreak on its best day ran 89!!!!!
Warpath after the rerig and 6's and Cobras ran approx 103-104

We are still in agreement that "Allez Vite" is still the fastest at about a buck 06....

If you have a faster one then you have to show me.......

What did Alez have for power?? When racing one year I think I remember it having 1000's, how about later on? I'm pretty sure the X Dimension was also raised.

It was running 1000 SC Mercs when Pete had it after he replaced the Cobras with them....Last ones that I am basing the top speed off was Zul 1000+ SC the 653 CI ones lots of torque and pull!!!! All the later ones had a very high x some of them were too high towards the end of the run

sorry, but ya'll are a li'l behind on the top speeds. Even though they are old and heavy there are a couple that are pretty damn fast out there. Don't ask. Stinson i'll call you back, sorry for the delay, trying to get back to the 21st century

What boat is that?! I have another pic of it on my computer and never knew what it was (other than AWESOME). Is that the boat Gar Wood ran over 100 in?

Ditto that! I did a double take this morning when I saw his name here.

If I'm not mistaken, I think he owned our boat for quite a few years when she was new. I'd like to talk to you Tonto.
