I'm only going to be dealing with 6-8 gauges, and not a huge number of switches.
Did you go with 3-way momentary starter/ign switches instead of the key?
That's what it looks like - aircraft style protected switches (if that makes sense).
I was thinking of doing the same.

On Offs for the ign switches. and momentary toggles with covers for the starters. Carlton Bates sells any and everything made by Carling Tech dirt azz cheap. i.e.....a few bucks a switch. Beverly the tech support lady will bend over backwards to help you on a $20 order. After my dealings with the her, Im looking into them now as an industrial supplier.

I think I'm gonna follow that same path that you did.

    Looks AWESOME!!!

Just one item from a keyboard critic.... I'd heat shrink all those wire terminals. It makes your efforts look sooo much cleaner and adds corrosion protection for the long run.

Best of Luck on the trial run!

F'in awesome thread. I'm looking at a 28SS this weekend. Current owners have done the upholstery but just a redo of the original. So have some idea of what I'll be doing this fall winter, maybe...................

Got a cashier check just in case earlier this evening. Teller has to ask what money is for over $10K (some Canadian gov law). She didn't like my answer: "little coke and some whores!"
