I heard through a surveyor friend of mine it was some sort of electrical short... If I remember, some punk kids had just stolen all the stereo equipment and the wires got crossed. That was a nice 50' that came from LOTO.

I was just kidding around, I feel sorry for the owner. Of course in today's market the owner would do better with a total then selling it.

This boat was Jim Darr's at one time, then sold, and the seller was trying to get 195k for it for a long period of time.. then the price dropped around 135k with a blown motor if i remember reading correctly, have no clue if it ever sold before the electrical issue..
