Somehow I forgot Stellings. Randy @ Stellings went the extra mile on two boats. Most recently my Gladiator with staggered Fords but the real challenge was my 32' Fever with Side by side Fords on 34" centers. A standard Big Block Ford has a 10.320" deck height and my early version high rise heads (first developed in the very early 80s) are size of big chief heads. It was an incredibly tight fit. All custom. CMI told me could not be done.

Tight is right until you need to do something. Sure is pretty.

God bless the person working on that. Do you have a friend named Gumby?

You are so right. I still have the boat but I swapped the engines into the Gladiator. I am building some EFI motors and was planning to freshen these up and put them back in the 32' but I am having second and third thoughts.

My neck and shoulders would be black and blue from hanging upside down in there working on things. I am getting too old for that.

The step bottom on this boat dropped the transom when off plane to the point that swim platform is right at the water. I think others with 29's and 32's have had problems with this too. The boat rides and drives very well for it's length though.

I think two small blocks will resolve both the space issue, allow me to put the hatch back on and keep the boat from sitting so low in the water at rest. Maybe won't be a triple digit boat any more but truth be told, I think it is at it's prime between 87-92mph.

    Yes!

How damn embarrassing, You gave me an extremely good buy on those top of the line lifters and then when I went and wanted a better model after receiving them, you took care of everything swapped me out and put together an even better package.

You definitely were one of my "GOOD" experiences. I am editing my post.

    Thanks Dean

2112- I was really impressed with the Fords in the Cig. What are they? I run a 557 in my 24 Aero Tech Challenger. MR
