    How Much Are They Worth?
    #1
I have two Mercury 500 EFI motors that were new in my 2002 model boat.

They have been 100% trouble free and have never once failed me.

The blocks and rotating assembles have 428 hours on them.

At 280 hours we did a complete refresh that included bearings, rings, new heads, valves, roller rockers and cam.

The ECM work was done by Mark Boos at Precision Marine and they dyno'd at 558 HP at 5400 RPM.

These look completely stock and perform as stock around the docks. I went from turning a labbed 26 pitch prop to a 29 pitch prop. They have the same 741 cam that you find in the 525 and will run head to head with any 525.

Always have used Mobile 1 15W50 and they do NOT burn any oil.

They also include the KE Preoilers which make oil changes a breeze.

These are 100% complete with engine mounts, couplers, etc.

They were pulled out last October and have been stored indoors in my business warehouse.

I have decided to sell them and would like to know what they are worth.

Two people have asked me to price them and I did at $12K each and they both thought I was out of my mind.

    Am I?

No you wouldn't want to do that. Just pull back on the throttles.

Nice boat by the way and I love the name.
