While our friends up north put their boats away. I look forward to this time of year. Work load lightens up, the reco's and kids are back to school and the weather here cools to the fine 80's. Clear sky's and 80's. How much better does it get?

    I hate winter too.
But it keeps the great lakes happy.... keeps the bugs down.
And we don't have too many Canadians crossing the border.

Sure they do they just run across, or use a snowmobile, instead of swim, or boat

    boatme,

I have moved my share of snow. I grew up in Md. Not in the snow belt, but the cold, the gray and snow in time wore me down.

Supposed to be back to 80's by the weekend. I will miss it though cause I'll be flying to Florida.

We took this picture last Thursday night after dinner on Lake Travis. This is the upper arm of Sandy Creek looking west from Cafe Bleu. As you can see, we need rain. Travis is down almost 30ft this year.

Jimmy, I guess that means the other half of the year is really busy, crowded and unbearably HOT!

8-10 inches of snow up in the catskills today, time to break out my snowboard!!!!

Heat is relative. Yes it gets hot, but you become accustom to it. It is dry heat though, just because its 90 doesn't mean your sweating.

I like snow boarding too. Hope to get together with my son and have some fun.

I wish I could say that about H-town.. You are right though you do get use to it but when the humidity is 4000% it sucks.

    By U,
He get the humidity sometimes. Just like the northern 85 degrees 85% humidity. Luckily not too often. I'll take a month of hot over 3 months of cold every time.

Only problem is no swells in the lake.
