It's a little extra work but should pay off in the long run

Started out by taking the boat off the trailer

Hit some of the filler areas with a couple coats of gel then sanded flat again.

In the middle of shooting the 1st coat of gel I had a little mishap. The disposable water seperator I was using decided to blow up. So I had to try and hold my pain gun and wrestle the flopping air line to keep it from hitting the wet gel. Man did that ever suck!

Then shortly after that I learned a valuable lesson about how long it takes gel to kick in a pain gun!

Amen to that! I got a good system down after I had to clean/scrape out my gun. After every cup I would shoot some mek through it and douche out the cup. That seemed to make all the difference for me.
