    Question
Hey guys - looking at putting a tonneau cover on my truck. I'm leaning toward a soft, roll-up style, but wanted to see if there was anything I had not considered. My brother has one from Access and seems to like it. Is installation as easy as they say?

Any ideas or suggestions as to where to purchase would be great. Thanks.

Installation is easy on the ones I have put on. I am sure it depends on the brand. Since you are in STL, if you got to Buff truck accessories they install whatever they sell for free and their prices are usually pretty good. Make sure you get one with plenty of the bow supports or they will hold water and sag.

I have one of these http://www.extang.com/docs/fulltilt.html and LOVE it. Rolls up, hinged like a hard cover, or quickly removes completely

Hands down best one on the market. I absolutely love mine.

It installs in about 90 seconds, and removes in less than that. Latch it up and carry it off like big suitcase.

I've got a hard cover on mine and love it!! It's called a "undercover". Has two locks on it and I can take it off and put it back on by myself. It is easier with mama helping, but takes just a minute or two either way. Check them out.

Been installing them since their inception. Great customer service and great product. I know when I sell one that I am taken care of if the customer has problems.

I've had one on my last two trucks. The one on my current truck is 6 years old and going strong.

If you want a hard cover the Under Cover that Craig mentioned is an awesome product too. Those guys will go to bat for you with any issue you have.

I had the slide track one. I forget the brand now. I could dig it up. It retracted like a roll up door. Easy open and close. Lockable.

    Here it is. http://www.truckstuffusa.com/rollnlo...rollnlock.html

I would think someone here on SOS can get you one.

I had one of the roll up covers too. Up here where we get cold weather and ice, I wouldn't have another. The damn thing was froze up half the winter and I couldn't use it. Other than that they are nice.

Hands down the best money can buy, installs in a minute, remove it in a minute no velcro no snaps, lock down in the rear. I have several friends that seen mine and bought the same one and love it.

Here's a picture of the UnderCover. Some rednecks with $$$ in my area have them painted to match their truck.

I need parts for mine but can't get an answer or returned phone call from the number I found on the web. I thought they may have been another company to go down the tank

I'm with Buck on this one for sure. Great cover , easy to install. Easy to adjust tension for summer / winter. Easy to roll up , the bows stay in the cover so you don't have to worry about losing them. The new vanish model is very low profile !! Their customer service is great too as buck stated.

I have the same one, and wouldn't have anything else. I have had a fiberglass tilt up cover that really restircted the ability to haul anything that was taller than the top of the bed. The AGI can be opened to any amount you need, and can be partially rolled and driven at highway speeds for a couple miles. Love it.

I have to agree on the EX Tang. I've got the same one I've been using since I bought my '01 2500 in '01 then put it on my '04 when I traded and still using it today. Their quality is the best!! The only complaint I have is that mine is a "press fit" and it's hard to roll up with one person.

    Also, FWIW...

The Trifecta also clips open right behind the cab, across the front of the bed. Once clipped you can drive with the bed open at highway speeds.
