The KTM 495 was a brutal - awesome machine.

After riding my whole life I can honestly say I never rode a KTM I didnt like.

How about a 4-stroke 400MXC? Bought it for my son to move up to. He rode it a couple times and left for college. Hasn't touched it in a few years. Now it collects dust and I can actually hear it in the garage depreciating- at least on the quieter evenings.

I'm sure it's a good deal but I've been on the 300 KTM's for too long. Besides, I've already bought. Picking it up on Saturday

I might have a buddy that could be interested, what year, options, lighting kit and how much do you need for it to leave the barn?

    btw, i like the ktm.
the four strokes out torqued them, all the pro riders switched.

I have a motocross track a 1/2 mile behind my house. Much preferred the sound of the two strokes racing

Cool Elsinore Brian! My first brand new bike was a 125 Elsinore, I put it on lay-a-way fall of 1976. My mother would take me to the Honda dealer every saturday for the weekly installments. Paid for it from paper route tips and took delivery March '77

Here's my new 300XC-W, picked it up yesterday from Aldo's KTM Harley Davidson in Bernardston, MA. What an impressive operation. Their facility is hospital clean. Just put on the lighting kit.

It's an 03. Full lights and full offroad plastic. Titled and street legal. It was bought new by my pal that works for Penton in Cleveland. He got it for his wife- too much for her. It went to my son. He rode it maybe 4 or 5 times. always with me. If I got $2500 out of it, I'd be happy.
