Are these the same Gentry Eagle boats?

I think the red one is 46 ft and the white is 50 ft, are they the same boat modified?

I looked at the white one last year up in Signal Hill. It's for sale again and up in Marina Del Rey. Don't know if they're the same, but there's a number of guys who will on this site. There's a discussion about the white one on the other site from last year as well.

Yep, same boat. I painted it red with the gentry name on it, it was Budweiser before that.

I believe the white 38 in the last picture was flipped at one of the first OPT races in San Diego.....

Is the red one in the first picture the one then went to the bottom of Lake Michigan?

The red and white big boats are the same. The little wood boat is the one that Smitty and Toleman set the record at 126 mph. Light as hell and delicate.

Here is the Gentry before he got it. This is Toleman and Smitty setting the record at Winderrnere, in England.
