    2005, was that the first race where P1 was in charge?

    It was the first year that Powerboat P1/KBL Powerboat Management Ltd were involved. They provided the promotion and were the main sponsors for the event. We, (the British Powerboat Racing Club and the United Kingdom Offshore Boating Assoc) were responsible for organizing the racing side of the event as KBL had no expertise in that area.

    Busy event for me as I helped out in the pits, raced and was on the protest committee/race jury.
