Thats just what NASCAR was looking for. Congrats to Trevor, too bad he can't (legally) have a celebratory beer tonight, LOL!

Hmmmmm, I can't seem to find any mention of Kyle on the M&M's Racing site

    http://www.mms.com/us/racing/team/crew.jsp

But he is still listed in the History section though.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. NASCAR found what it was looking for through big-pack drafting during Friday afternoon’s testing session at Daytona International Speedway — scintillating restrictor-plate racing.

    Test drive
By increasing the restrictor plates to 15/16ths of an inch and offering the cars 26 more horsepower to work with after Thursday's first day of testing, drivers on Friday exceeded the 204.722-mph mark set by Martin Truex Jr. during tandem drafting in the morning session while in a 16- to 20-car pack at the start of the afternoon practice.

But the top speed of 206.058 mph was set 90 minutes into the afternoon session by Kurt Busch, working in tandem with his regular drafting partner, Regan Smith. Busch hit 210.9 mph down the backstretch.

    Interesting article...

Jimmie Johnson is miles ahead of the competition, not only in NASCAR

Jimmie Johnson is 400 miles away from again becoming King of NASCAR. As you try not to yawn, think what the inscription on the crown should proclaim.

World's Greatest Athlete? World's Most Dominant Athlete? World's Best Athlete? World's Most Underappreciated Athlete?

Even in NASCAR circles, Johnson doesn't get enough respect. Dale Jr. has been voted most popular driver 10 consecutive years . He has 12 total wins during that time, and just two over the past seven years.

    Johnson has 63 career victories.

Double trouble: Two crashes mar wacky Daytona practice

"When you're upside down, there is nothing you can do to steer," Kligerman told FOXSports.com. "I had my foot on the brake, and I'm thinking that's unnecessary because you're not going to stop when you're upside down. But when I was sliding on the roof, you're just hoping not to get hit anymore. It's an awkward position.

"You're just hanging there in your belts, you're hanging upside down, you're just not where you're sitting. You just don't want to get hit, because you're a little more suspended in air right there and sliding along. It wasn't that bad. I was more worried about the fans and getting in the fence and what we've seen here before."

You see where he barrel rolled and landed right side up to finish the race?

    DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —

The race was marred by a huge last-lap crash that collected nine cars, including six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Jimmie Johnson, Duel pole-sitter Martin Truex Jr., and Clint Bower, his No. 15 going airborne and doing a barrel roll before landing on its wheels.

NASCAR's championship picture became a little bit clearer following Sunday night's Oral-B USA 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which was won by Kasey Kahne.

In that race, Kahne and Matt Kenseth became the 13th and 14th drivers, respectively, to clinch spots in NASCAR's season-ending, 10-race, Chase for the Sprint Cup.

After next Saturday night's race at Richmond International Raceway, 16 drivers will advance to the Chase, which will determine this year's series champion.

The Chase field will consist of all the drivers who have won in the 26-race NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regular season. So far this year, 13 drivers have won races, with the remaining three Chase spots to be filled by the three drivers who are highest in points among those who have not won races. Or, if we have another new winner next week at Richmond, two drivers will make it in on points.

    Race winners in 2014:

Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano have three victories each.

Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards have won twice each.

Kurt and Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, AJ Allmendinger, Aric Almirola and Kasey Kahne are all one-time winners.

Following Sunday night's Atlanta race, Kenseth clinched a spot on points. The only other drivers who can race their way in on points alone are Ryan Newman, Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer and Kyle Larson. Newman unofficially has 747 points to Biffle's 728. They are in the final two transfer spots right now. Bowyer has 705 points to Larson's 704.

Next Saturday's night at Richmond will be the final race in the regular season and the last opportunity for a driver to race his way in to the Chase.
