Does anyone know who makes the lightest open face helmet. One that is intended to be used in a closed cockpit boat.
Thanks in advance,

When I was looking, I felt that Pelter was pretty light.....I'm sure Ben H. would be able to give you some good info on that.....

01-29-2009 09:49 AMTake a look at the ARAI Classic. They make an incredible helmet and every one I've ever owned was exceptionally light. And I've crash-tested a few.
They have a similar piece that's open-face with an integral visor.

Peltor is the lightest we have used. And they have intercoms too installed

I think Tiger Performance has a new line of the Stilo Helmets.

I have an older Simpson open face (Earnhadt style) that's a tank and just bought a couple of Peltors with the integrated radios and they're pretty light. Lighter than my composite Bell Dominator I'd guess...
Those Stilo's are wicked!
