    I figured a company with the rich history of Chris-Craft deserves a vintage thread.

    I love your avatar pic, Donzi 28 is onw of my favs.

    Here is my '69 Chris Craft SS, awaiting a long block. This boat has all fiberglass stringers. The only wood is sistered stringers aft for the engine lag bolts, and the floor which I replaced. Original floor would've lasted if someone hadn't screwed stuff into it.









    It's a work in progress, here it is when I first rescued it. Hull #39 out of 86.

    Love these old CC'S. They are very cool looking and at 40 years old..what a great classic

    Had a 1973 CC, looked just like cashbrain's boat but tan, what a great boat. The boat was still hanging out in Lake Charlevoix up until a couple of years ago.

    The XK series from the eartly 1970's are great!!!

    Many had the Chevy LT1 engine!!!
