My wife just started shooting handguns with us and this is her new one. It is a Beretta Neos 22LR 6" barrel with a 1X red dot scope on it. This is really accurate @ 25 yards and a lot of fun to shoot. Also a lot cheaper on the ammo. I don't know who has more fun shooting this her or I.Click image for larger version.

None of my wives/gf's/whatevers are allowed to know anything about guns. You're a brave man

I have this little Ruger MKIII .22 that I use for target. 6" barrel witha Leupold 4x28 on it, very accurate and cheap to shoot.

I've never shot a handgun with a scope on it. How do you see through it?

Nice MKIII by the way. I'm looking for a MKII with either the 6" barrel or a 10"

When you look thru the little BSA Red Dot scope it looks like a small red laser dot inside the scope, very easy to line up and see. The dot is adjustable for size and ambient light. You don't have to be close to the scope like a regular crosshair scope on a rifle or pistol. Extend your arm like sighting a normal pistol. You can shoot it from a bench rest and have roughly 3" groupings or freehand and I can shoot a 6" grouping at 20-25 yards. The other cool thing about this gun is it is modular. You can replace the grips, sights, and have different length barrels. Beretta is also supposed to be developing a carbine kit for it to make it a small rifle. I think this gun is based on a Ruger design.

I keep them locked and have the only key just in case I really pizz her off. In todays world I wanted to make sure my wife, daughter, and even my grandaughter know the basics of how to shoot and firearm safety.

Cool, the pink seems to take the edge off it being a weapon. I tried to get the pink grips, but red was as close as they had.

I've been eyeballing one of those Berettas for a couple years now. Heard they shot darn good. Wouldn't mind pumping a few hundred rounds through one myself someday.

A thong is like a barbed wire fence, it protects the property but doesn't ruin the scenery.

Not too expensive, around $250.00 @ Bass Pro Shops with the 6" barrel in black. They have a SS version that is a little more. It shoots very well. Nice grouping, even my wife keeps a tight group at 7 and 10 yards. The red dot sight just makes it a little more fun to shoot.

Here's my shooter. Another MKIII like MattB's but a different version of it. I love shooting tree rats and woodpeckers with this thing. I have shot more rounds through this than any gun I own.

That little 22 shoots so well, I had to add this Laserlyte laser to my HK 40 Tactical. Now, I can compete with her.

Wife has changed her mind and thinks she wants this Sig Sauer .22 now instead of the Walther. What do you guys think?
