Boat Name: "Jen N Sonic" (Needless to say, wife's name is Jen)
We had an '86 just like that when I was a kid. Great rough water boat. My father really liked to "drive it like he stole it"

I had a chance to steal a 41 years ago in a trade for my 33SE. Was a dumbass and did not want to build a new dock at the time...have regretted it ever since. I don't know what to do with my baby now. Have had her since birth and can't trade or sell her. Wish the damn weather would co operate so I could get her out to play.....

Andy have you ever had any issues with gel cracks on the very rear sides where the swim platforms were grafted on? (Right under the arch in black area behind the stripes)

Reason I asked is these need to be ground out and repaired, but I can't tell if it's just gel or if they hand laid in some glass or filler in that area. Don't want a simple job to turn into a major operation. Being under that black Imron paint, it's going to show off anything but a really perfect repair.

If its a stress crack, it will come back anyways sooner or later !!!!!

To fix it correct u need to lay glass strips in it and re gel,,,but still most likley they will come back !!!

Just bought this one myself last October. I think the last owner spoke to you about this boat also. Other than having the stbd motor in peices right now everything else should be ready to go in a couple of weeks. Would love to talk to you about your boat (good, bad, and ugly)
