That's an interesting plan.

They had lost all of the main offshore categories as the event is an OPA event, who had opted out of the APBA.

Now I wonder how things will shake out??

It will still not count for any championship points, and there is a race that does have national points just a week later. So, if you break your boat, you may miss out on the Championship.

I'm gonna do some checking and see if it's double the prize money for every class. If so, they should get a decent turnout I believe.

Having races a week before and a week after may be a bit of an issue though.
