    How much work is it to swap out a #5 for a #6??

    Actual crank/prop centerlines are the same if I remember (which is questionable), but the 6 has a setback compared to a 5 (unless the 5 is on a box), so the ideal X is higher.

    If it is a driveline setup it's not too bad as the u joints will take the offset, fill the transom & go for it. A plug-in really requires a re-rig to do it right.

    I can look at the drawings Monday (or email them to you) if you want.

    Guys- check the date. Almost 5 months ago. And New Years Eve. Stecz was baked.

    But good information nonetheless. At the end of the day, you're going to have to re-do the transom. I can't imagine plugging anything that has 6 drives on it. I'd want all the strength I can get.

    It's really not that bad but it does take some skill and mechanical know how!!!!
