10-03-2020 03:29 PMAbout friggin time!!! Hopefully this gives power to all of the lawsuits against her for causing businesses to go bankrupt. She should personally have to pay them. Hopefully a lot more suits against her will be filed now too!!!
The Michigan Supreme Court ruled that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) does not have the authority to continue the state of emergency in Michigan.
The court said neither the Emergency Management Act from 1976 nor the Emergency Powers of the Governor Act from 1945 dictate how states of emergency are declared and handled in Michigan, and that Whitmer does not have the power to continue the state of emergency under either law. Therefore, Whitmer did not have the authority to extend her initial state of emergency past April 30, when it was set to expire.
“We conclude that the Governor lacked the authority to declare a ‘state of emergency’ or a ‘state of disaster’ under the EMA after April 30, 2020, on the basis of the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, we conclude that the EPGA is in violation of the Constitution of our state because it purports to delegate to the executive branch the legislative powers of state government— including its plenary police powers— and to allow the exercise of such powers indefinitely,"Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

10-04-2020 06:20 PMSo, she'd been in violation f the Constitution of the State of Michigan for 5 months, but now she says it doesn't matter and according to her interpretation of the law she gets to keep violating the Constitution for another 21 days?
Whitmer responded Friday to the Supreme Court ruling, saying it is "deeply disappointing" and she "vehemently" disagreed with the court's interpretation of the Michigan Constitution. She then said the ruling doesn't take effect for 21 days, so her "emergency declaration and orders retain the force of law."Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

10-11-2020 08:28 AMA group evidently tried.
No idea how overblown it is. The funniest thing, she blames Trump!!!
Nothing is ever her fault. Thousands die in nursing and senior care homes in Michigan because she forces the homes to keep, and accept, patients with Covid, and it's Trump's fault. California has big Forest Fires, it's Trump's fault. Louisiana has hurricanes, it's Trump's fault.
What really is concerning, people actually believe that ****.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

10-13-2020 11:53 PMDamn, I bet Whitmer's really upset now. Michigan has dropped out of the top 10 since the Supreme Court declared her lockdown rules unconstitutional, now tied for 11th!!! What will she do to get back in the Top 10?
Do you think that somebody should tell her it's like golf, not basketball? The lowest score wins, not the highest????Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

I don't think anyone can tell her anything.
I just keep remembering her statement to doctors, pharmacists, and medical professionals.
She was going to have their credentials revoked if they prescribed hydroxychloroquine.
How many died when she stopped them from getting something that may have saved their lives??
How many deaths because of her stuffing nursing homes?
She needs to be held responsible.
Instead people just grab hold and believe the latest fairy tale of kidnappers.
ALL WAY too convenient.
Harder and harder to believe any of it, especially with the timing.
Even heard development of vaccines and immune cell therapy paused ... 4-6 weeks for safety concerns.
Only detail to go along with the story is pauses are common in any vaccine or therapeutic study.
Again, just uncanny timing.

11-15-2020 10:24 PMWell, Michigan, with over a million less people than Sweden, and Half-Whit shutdown after Whit-Less shutdown, has now upped its record to over 2000 more deaths than Sweden who has not ever shutdown, just made common sense advisory items a part of their daily lives. Bitch-Mer is an idiot. Almost as bad as Cuomo.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer on Sunday ordered new COVID-19 restrictions as positive cases continue to accelerate in her state. The restrictions include a three-week suspension of dining inside restaurants, drinking inside bars and attending classes in-person at high schools and colleges.
The new measures ordered by the Democratic governor are set to take effect on Wednesday (11/18/20).
Halting school attendance for three weeks would take them them beyond the Thanksgiving holiday week and weekend, and through the first week of December.
The temporary shut down will also affect casinos and movie theaters.
