11-19-2020 10:09 AMThree Republican members of Michigan’s House of Representatives introduced a resolution for impeachment against Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Wednesday.
“Today I introduced Articles of Impeachment against Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer,” Rep. Beau LaFave said on twitter Wednesday.
“The four articles of impeachment against Gov. Whitmer include failing to respect the separation of powers by exercising power granted to the legislative branch, violating the constitutional rights of the people of Michigan, issuing executive orders against the interests of the people and state, and using state resources to reward political allies,” he added.

11-22-2020 05:04 PM'Impeach Gretchen Whitmer' Petition Gains Support as Michigan Braces for COVID, Election Battles
A petition calling for the impeachment of Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has gained traction in recent days.
The renewed activity with the Change.org petition, created months ago, follows Republican lawmakers introducing articles of impeachment on Thursday over Whitmer's handling of the coronavirus pandemic, and ahead of Michigan's Board of State Canvassers meeting Monday to decide whether to certify the presidential election—a normally little-noticed process now under intense scrutiny amid claims of election fraud by President Donald Trump and state Republicans.
The petition, entitled "Impeach Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer NOW," calls Whitmer "incompetent" and "deadly" while accusing her of "inadequate" leadership during the pandemic. Concerns include "unnecessary government overreach" and fighting with President Donald Trump for "political clout."

11-23-2020 06:52 PMThe Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners voted 4-2 on Friday, Nov. 20, to approve a resolution in support of impeachment, WPBN/WGTU reports. It will be sent to the Michigan Legislature for consideration.
Commissioner David Comai said that Whitmer’s “unconstitutional executive orders” are to blame for Kalkaska County’s current economic crisis and are grounds for impeachment, the report said.
Maddock claimed that Whitmer had "ignored court orders. Violated our Constitutional rights. Completely ignored due process and the legislature. Weaponized contract tracing databases to aid democrat campaigns," when listing the reasons he believed she should be impeached.

The state of Texas is suing Michigan along with several other states, claiming violations of the Constitution because voting rules were established by court orders and executive actions rather than the legislative action.
The lawsuit, filed directly with the Supreme Court by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, argues that there were “voting irregularities” because Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin changed election procedures in ways that would violate the Electors Clause of the Constitution. Paxton is asking the Supreme Court to order the states to allow their legislators to freely choose electors, potentially reversing the vote of the people in the presidential election.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

My wife has been saying that for quite a while now.
About the only "reason" that dining has been outlawed so long and everything else restricted but opening up...
Curious to see if we'll ever hear anything about this.
Either way, she sure is a B1+CH ! ! !

01-29-2021 05:21 PMHe's doing better than I thought though.
The DOW is only down 1200 points in 9 days. Only 4%........
That means the average person in the US has only lost $850 from their retirement.
9 days, $850, hope he doesn't follow that trend.....Last edited by Ratickle; 01-29-2021 at 05:26 PM.
