    That's for sure. But, running with Simmons for a couple years makes one understand how hard it can be to be almost perfect. Learned a lot!!!

    And then, of course, the biggest issue with spec racing is cheating. That is the main reason restricting teams from moving up to spec from the bracket classes.

    If the rules are not enforced, there is really not much sense having rules. But, it costs money to inspect every boat every race to catch the chronic cheaters.

    No easy answer, but it has to be addressed for the sport to continue to grow like it has this season.
