    Well, what a mess.

Last year, SBI had 34 boats in Clearwater. The year before, SBI had 37 boats in Clearwater. This year, RWO gets 14.

What a disaster. Thankfully, half the Stock Outboards and half the Super Cats that have been going to the OPA races this year went. Otherwise, they would have had 4 boats running like they did in Dunkirk.

    Its almost full circle LOL...

OPA will dump apba ,the spec classes will finish disintegrating, then opa can go back to p-class racing in the northeast.

We shall see. Hopefully OPA and P1 will stay together, run the same circuit next year but add Clearwater and Key West. Or, RWO will join with OPA and P1 as all APBA clubs (but I don't see that happening at this time).

Or, SBI will get Key West back and join with P1 and OPA.

    Or,

sbi is over .over and done.
the secretaries will run out the current lawsuits and that's that.

somebody will no doubt buy some of the equipment ,but honestly its all outdated.
the scales never were reliable .the tents need new material .
not a whole lot of usable stuff.
the cab is a 93 ish.trailers always being repaired .
anyway I wish they would have sold three years ago when it was obvious their time was over.

I hope the best for opa

I really hope that OPA and P1 stay combined for another 6 or 7 race series next season.

It seems like every time something comes along to give us hope for the following season cause the current season is going much better, it gets screwed up by something like what RWO has done the last two years. Mentor from 25 boats to 11 boats to none. Dunkirk at 12 boats to 4 boats to ?. Clearwater from 37 boats to 14 to ? What's next?

I sure hope the P1/OPA thing continues to grow the sport back but am sure not holding my breath it will last. But, no matter what, you have to admit the venues they have combined on have grown turnout tremendously! This weekend should be over 60 boats again.

There was a lot of talk about teams not going to Key West this weekend in Fort Myers. More than I expected.
