Thanks to a group of amazing volunteers, zero-hour dock construction at the lunch stop was no problem for the upcoming 1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run, https://speedonthewater.com/in-the-n...h-water-places.

That's cool. We have really struggled with high water throughout the great lakes this year.

That's for sure. It's amazing how many home's lawns and how many roads are covered with water.

Not here. The ramps that are not closed for high water, you don't even have to go to the ramp. Just launch from the turn-around area of the ramp.

For the poker run on Saturday, we have to go at no-wake the entire distance of Lake Macatawa so boat wakes don't wash out peoples yards.

I think all of the Great Lakes are at record highs, but have finally stopped raising.

If I had a driver for the rig (who wasn't going on the boat ride) I could power launch off the top of the ramp. But if whoever is in the truck is going on the ride... they would have to swim.

    In our water.

We had the runs yesterday and today. The parking lot at the ramp was over the axles on the boat trailers to get to the ramp. It was ridiculous.
