    Do you prefer oil coolers in the bell housing or the long tubes in the bilge ?

    Spoke with a gentleman today who claims that the lighter Apache ever build was name "Flap Jack" made for a guy in Vegas call Howard Quam, the boat race in 1987,88 in Ilsa Morada, the hull did not make it, first and last race. He said the weight of the hull was about 3800 lb with no gear. does any one ever heard of this boat??

    If that's true then Howard didn't have much luck with V-bottoms. Here's his Scarab at the 1985 Worlds.

    No I always thought that was an Aronow boat but I could be wrong who knows I am getting old these days!!!! It's about time to retire from all of this!!!!

    Once you have fiberglass and higgh octane and you're not wrapped so tight anymore retirement is the farthest thing from my mind but hey now were looking for 118 and NOS or nitro!!!!
