    I can't remember my username over there, but I want to tell the guy who thinks it would look good with the Apache logo on the side that it is a ****ing Co-Manchy.

    A slow, retarded Co-Manchy.

    There are sure a lot more Apache experts than Apache owners.

    That boat was originally Octavian, a 47' Apache built in 1989.

    It was sold a couple times at auction up here in the Powerquest sale, but the first two times the bank nixed the price. So, when Powerquest did finally sell at auction, Neil ended up with the boat and sold it.

    Well, that's a bit of a story also. I may not get the years right, but;

    The boat was built in 1989, I believe, at Apache.
    In around 2007 or 2008, the boat was dropped off a forklift onto a seawall and broke the hull in half.
    After that, McManus rebuilt the boat with an entire new hull, same deck.
    So, it became a Comanche with a new HIN in 2008 or 2009.

    After that, somehow, it ended up at Powerquest and the deck was cut off. Rumors were the deck was cut off so the bank could not repossess it because it would be worthless.

    Also, at that time I believe, the stringer system was converted to be a twin boat instead of a triple. Then Powerquest went bankrupt and it sat for the couple years during the different auctions until Neil purchased the lot and sold Octavian.

    I'm told, by my secret insider informants, my timeline is off about 10 years. It was allegedly around 1997/1998 when the boat was dropped on the wall and rebuilt by McManus.

    The new HIN would say for sure what year it was completed.

    Because HIM numbers are never stamped late.

    I was talking to one of the guys very familiar with the boat. Weight with the triples with #3's was 11,800 lbs. It was a light boat when original.

    I was telling him I didn't believe the weight being discussed, but now I do.

    Also, the stringer system was planned to be converted to twins, but never was completed due to the bankruptcy. Stringers were still set for trips.

    So a little more running last night and we need to play with props still. But I trimmed the two outside motors up and just ran the center and got 32mph at 4200rpms with a 1.3 fuel burn. Then trimmed the center up and ran the two outsides and jumped on plane and was quickly at 50+.

    His numbers are way better than I would have thought possible.
