If I dropped a skater on a sea wall and broke it in half and then used some of the parts to make a tugboat it wouldn't still be a skater.

08-08-2019 10:38 AMI just found this thread...its definitely not an Apache you are correct...you guys are funny
As far as performance goes, it only tops out at 63 mph with about a 1 mpg burn rate at 5k rpms. STILL haven't re-proped the engines. It gets worked almost every weekend so re-proping hasn't been in the front of my mind. It will get 1.4 at 40+ mph loaded for a trip with 18 tanks, 250 gallons of fuel and 1k lbs in ice. It will run on the 2 outside motors over 50 mph and it will plane on the center motor if the outside ones are trimmed up. Boat, motors and 100 gallons of fuel came in at just over 9k lbs.
Flame away...death threats are welcome too, just make sure you come in person to deliver them ;-)

08-08-2019 09:08 PMI think this is cool actually.
The Comanche bottom is a splash of the original Apache 47, just built by Mark instead of Bobby.
I have to believe that boat would get you home in almost any conditions. And, it must be a wave crusher.
Now, it may need 3 of the new 450 V8 outboards.Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!

By the way, the death threat joke was an homage to the old Apache threads of OSO.
Nothing to do with this thread.

If you look at that 35 mistress with the ghetto wrap, and then you look at the green outboard machine 47 Comanche, the 47 actually looks good. Sort of want.
