    Surprising how well the 1100 does on 89 Octane.

    Great engine....

    I usually put in 91 or 93, knowing that gas can sit a while in a boat, and octane loss doesn't sleep.

    I wish they had done a bit more explanation as to why the higher compression engines leave unburnt pockets of fuel that ignite too late.
    Getting bad advice is unfortunate, taking bad advice is a Serious matter!!
