The local marine patrol has came looking for me several times, to help tow someone back to the dock. It is good to be on the marine patrols good side, and it is great taking a tow job away from local US Tow Boat. The guy is criminal in what he charges people. I just ask the people to remember me if I need a tow.

You should have them at least buy you a drink. Sell them drink coupons to your favorite watering hole!!

We were at State Park and the Marine Patrol asked if we could tow someone to town. They started their boat and put it in gear to go, they never pulled the anchor. The anchor was locked up to the prop with the chain around it. Turned out the wife worked with Ford Credit out of Detroit and her parents are customers of mine. So sometimes it is just good PR work.

Does Wrinkledink buy you a drink every time you tow him in? Or do you just disguise your boat because that would be bad PR?

Never had to tow him. We just let him borrow our extra oil.
