    Run the two mile course starting near Site Six Launch Ramp and runs two miles south on the California side. With over 30 different classes available, you’ll compete against boats like yours! Safety equipment is required; see rules in the registration packet.
    7:00 AM - 8:00 AM – Final Shootout Registration, Nautical Convention Center
    8:00 AM – Shootout Drivers Meeting at Nautical Convention Center
    8:30 AM - Tech inspection begin at Site Six Docks.

    Saturday morning begins at the Nautical Resort conference center with final registrations and check in for the Desert Storm Shootout. Then we move to the Site Six Marina for boat inspections and classification. The Shootout course starts off near Site Six Launch Ramp and runs two miles south on the California side. Set to run thru early afternoon, we’ll see who have the fastest boats in the west and the King of the Desert!!! Spectators have a great view from areas around the Site Six Launch Ramp, our wet pits location (VIPS only), in the parking lot, we have display and vendor areas available.
    Saturday’s Power in the Park – even with the shootout happening across the Island, boat displays and vendors will be open at 10:00 AM with Shootout run by run announcements thru our park wide sound system. Fly Board Demos and other activities will be going on.
    Awards Party – will kick off at 6:30 PM with dinner catered in the VIP tent for Participants. Live music, beer garden and food vendors are available to all our public guests. Awards show will kick off at 8:00 pm as we award our participants with best in show, the top speeds in each shootout class, crowning the new King and Queen of the Desert and topping off the night with awarding the winners of the Poker Run. Then it’s party away the night with live music, dancing and tons of fun.

    Saturday starts the famous and heart-rumbling Desert Storm Shootout, where drivers run a two-mile course starting near the Site Six Launch Ramp south along the California side of the lake. 30 different classes will be competing with over 67 runs, and the speeds are breathtaking! Best viewing for the Shootout will be on the surrounding bluffs on the Island near Site Six to Spectator Point.
